PROPUESTA DE CREACIÓN DE INDUMENTARIA FEMENINA UTILIZANDO TÉCNICAS ANCESTRALES CON FUNDAS PLÁSTICAS RECICLADAS Y PAJA MOCORA COMO MATERIA PRIMA ALTERNATIVA
PROPOSAL FOR THE CREATION OF FEMALE DRESSING USING ANCESTRAL TECHNIQUES WITH RECYCLED PLASTIC CASES AND MOCORA STRAW AS ALTERNATIVE RAW MATERIAL
Resumen
Esta propuesta tiene como finalidad intencional, producir y expresar el arte mediante técnicas ancestrales del Ecuador, utilizando materia prima alternativa como la paja mocora juntamente con objetos reciclados de plástico (fundas) en la elaboración de indumentaria femenina. Unas de las causas que contamina al planeta son las grandes cantidades de desechos, como las fundas plásticas que se utilizan en las bananeras, los cuales contaminan al medio ambiente ya que no son reutilizadas, estas fundas plásticas desintoxicadas se pueden utilizar como materia prima alternativa junto con la paja mocora. Se experimentó al combinar las materias primas alternativas (las fundas plásticas y paja mocora) con las técnicas ancestrales como es el tejer con crochet o a mano, las mismas que se utilizarán en la elaboración aretes, pulseras collares, bolsos, sombreros, zapatos prendas de vestir como trajes de baños hasta un vestido para gala tejidos, en los cuales se le puede incluir pedrerías como complemento, creando prendas innovadoras únicas en el mundo artístico de la moda. En el pasado la paja mocora era un elemento principal para realizar prendas con acabados artesanales, los mismos que se están perdiendo actualmente, utilizados únicamente en pocos objetos como sombreros, petates, chalos, canasta etc. Más no en prendas o accesorios de vestir. Al adaptar o realizar prendas con la paja mocora y fundas plásticas aportaría al medio ambiente, resaltaría las tradiciones de Ecuador al tiempo que genera ingresos para la población local.
Abstract
This proposal has as intentional purpose, to produce and express the art through Ecuadorian ancestral techniques, using alternative raw material such as straw mocora together with recycled plastic objects (plastic bags) in the elaboration of feminine clothing. Some of the causes that contaminate the planet are the large amounts of waste, such as the plastic bags that are used in the banana plantations, which contaminate the environment since they are not reused, these detoxified plastic bags can be used as an alternative raw material together with the mucus straw. It was experimented by combining alternative raw materials (plastic covers and straw mocora) with ancestral techniques such as crochet or hand weaving, which will be used in the preparation of earrings, bracelets, necklaces, purses, hats, shoes. Clothing like bathing suits to a dress for gala fabrics, in which you can include jewelry as a complement, creating innovative garments unique in the fashion art world. In the past the straw M ocora was a main element to make clothes with handmade finishes, the same ones that are currently being lost, used only in a few objects such as hats, mats, shawls, basket, etc. However they have not been worn in garments or clothing accessories. Adapting or making garments with Mocora straw and plastic bags would contribute to the environment, highlight the traditions of Ecuador while generating income for the local population.
